These are the great looking and even better performing nitro rc models. Many of the specs are similar to the Acme-Tech rc cars but there are a few big differences. For example these nitro rc cars have their own quirky look to them and with the Lightning Strike we have actually fitted a rally car shell onto a buggy chassis to create a realistic WRC type performer. Another big difference is that these come with a traditional stick type controller instead of the new wheel ones that come with the Acme. As well as the standard models we also have upgraded pro versions of them that have the best of the aluminium hop ups pre-installed.

These high spec models have all the features and components of full scale models but at a mini price! The models can be raced anywhere and there are now even dedicated tracks and events. RC rock crawlers carefully negotiate difficult rock formations and surmount obstacles that ordinary vehicles couldn't even begin to climb. At times, it is a slow, deliberate navigation and at times it’s an almost violent display of brute force. In the last few years, more and more specialised, purpose-built rock crawlers have been built that perform better, and better emulate the full-size rock crawlers that also are growing extremely fast in popularity.
