Battery Life & Charge Times
Battery life in model
A proper electric rc car battery will last about 10 minutes.
All proper rc car batteries last for about 10 minutes, from a £100 car to a £1000 one. The toy ones last longer but this is because they are very slow so do not use any power. It has nothing to do with the price or quality like a Ferrari uses fuel quicker than a Skoda but the Skoda is not a better race car.
If you are looking for longer run times you could order a spare battery or quick charger or maybe have a look at a nitro model.
Charge times
You can work out charge times of a battery and charger by looking at the mah of the battery that will be written on it and the mah OUTPUT of the charger that will be written on the charger.
Dividing the mah of the battery by the mah of the charger will give the charge time in hours. For example, if the output on the charger was 300mah and the battery was a 650mah then 650 divided by 300 would give 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Be careful never to over charge a battery as this will damage it.
